This book does not stop! From page one you are dumped into this poor girls tragedies. Just when you think that there is a shred of hope or light at the end of the tunnel there is another twist or turn that blows up. A complete psychological thriller and love story all woven together rarely turns out as good as this book manages to do! I felt like the first part of the quote in the introduction was absolutely a perfect description of the backdrop for this book. “Love and consume, devour, and destroy.” This is not your typical romance and I found it very satisfying and a great change of pace. I’d recommend it to anyone who is looking for something different and needs a bit of something different than your happily ever after books.Product details

If you like a emotions ride check this out. A different read from what I use to. But I still love it.
Wow!!!! This author is amazing and does an amazing job! I cried shuddered cried again! Damn! This author knows how to tell a story.
A wonderful dark amd twisted story! The characters are so REAL. I cried, got angry and hoped right along with her. This author doesn't dissapoint!
this book is sick, twisted, and demented and I like it! I don't know what the heck goes through Ms. Shockeys mind when she writes but I hope it keeps running in there. if your a fan of WTFs, you will love this book also.
This fascinating psychological horror story could be appropriately named, 'The twisted beginnings of a serial killer enabler.' The 'love' spoken of in the title is NOT a romance, but extreme love of family, to the point you could cover up ANY wrongdoing or do ANYTHING to protect your family. I don't wish to say more as it would spoil the ending, but this psychological study is interesting, dark and deeply disturbing.
I could not put this book down. Lots of suspense, murder, horror, and blood. This book isn't for the faint of heart. There is so much I want to share but I don't want to spoil it any of it for you- yes, it's that good. Shockey stuffed a lot of love and heartache into this book. I cried. Around Chapter 7 or so I was angry with the author- because of the rollercoaster of emotions. The writing is excellent and pulls you in and keeps you turning page after page. I finished this in one night. I highly recommend.
